The VCT 2023 season, the first season of VALORANT partnership under the new ecosystem, has finally come to a close. This year’s script saw Evil Geniuses go from a team considered to worst in VCT Americas to the ultimate underdogs to villains to world champions.
With the season all wrapped up, the offseason is officially on, but many teams have already started making moves in hopes of reaching Champions themselves next year.
In this comprehensive tracker, we will detail and list all of the significant confirmed, reported, or rumored roster moves taking place during the 2023 VALORANT offseason, all the way until the start of the 2024 season.

All confirmed VALORANT roster moves after 2023 VCT season
Team Heretics
Auni “AvovA” Chahade has officially been permitted by Team Heretics to explore his options. AvovA said he is available to relocate worldwide and can play smokes, sentinels, or the flex position.
Karmine Corp
Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom has officially been permitted by Karmine Corp to explore his options. ScreaM said he is “open to all VCT regions for the right project.”
The Guard
When The Guard organization refused to sign the team agreement for VCT Americas 2024 after the roster’s victory in Ascension, Riot’s initial response was to announce that no team would ascend. Following massive community backlash and The Guard releasing the players, Riot has permitted the players to “pursue opportunities” with an organization, provided they are a “suitable candidate.”
NRG
Both Pujan “FNS” Mehta and Sam “s0m” Oh confirmed they have been moved to the NRG inactive roster. FNS says he wasn’t happy there anymore, and said it was “best for both parties” for him to leave.
Both players will stream over the offseason and will consider offers during that time. “If something comes up this offseason or next year, we’ll see what we can do,” s0m said, “but the plan right now is just to stream.”

Team Heretics
Heretics is parting ways with Wassim “keloqz” Cista and Auni “AvovA” Chahade ahead of VCT 2024, according to a report by Blix on Aug. 29. The future of star player Mixwell is also up in the air as the player is currently deciding if he wants to compete next year or not, according to Blix. AvovA has been permitted by the team to pursue new options.
NAVI
NAVI and former world champion Mehmet “cNed” İpek are reportedly parting ways, with the team already looking for a replacement, according to blix.gg.
NRG
NRG is reportedly considering a massive roster overhaul prior to 2024, with the team looking to drop and replace Sam “s0m” Oh, Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, and veteran in-game leader Pujan “FNS” Mehta, according to a report from George Geddes. Both s0m and FNS have said publicly that they are off the main roster.
Karmine Corp
According to Blix.gg, the entire roster aside from Shin is available on the market, with the team looking to rebuild for 2024. Alongside that, the coaching staff is also changing, with rumors that it’s between M80’s coach Vincent “Happy” Schopenhauer and TSM’s coach Andrey “Engh” Sholokhov.
Sentinels
According to Slasher, there is a “90 to 95 percent chance” that TenZ leaves Sentinels’ starting roster via either a team decision to move on from the superstar or a decision by TenZ to move toward full-time content creation or perhaps even a new team. Slasher also claims that Sentinels is very interested in offering aspas a contract if he becomes available.
LOUD
There’s a chance LOUD loses its superstar player aspas after VALORANT Champions 2023, according to esports insider Rod “Slasher” Breslau. The team is reportedly going through internal issues due to everybody having problems with aspas outside of the game. Aspas asked for a raise with a renewed contract, which was reportedly denied by LOUD.
100 Thieves
After general manager Daniel “ddk” Kapadia left 100 Thieves on July 31, the community is speculating the organization will make deep roster changes heading to VCT 2024 following the underwhelming results in 2023. Ddk was the one responsible for signing every player in 100 Thieves minus Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk.
DetonatioN FocusMe
DetonatioN FocusMe is hosting open tryouts for 2024 after losing all 11 matches they played throughout the 2023 VCT season. It’s likely that the Japanese organization will change most of the players on its roster, if not all of them.
