Believe it or not, Fortnite is taking a trip back to 2018 with the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG. Epic Games has unveiled a new trailer for this nostalgic season, showcasing Tilted Towers and the question, “Where are we landing?”
The Return to Tilted Towers trailer provides a glimpse of the new season, featuring Tilted Towers as part of the recreated 2018 map. This battle royale game is revisiting Chapter 1 Season 3, blending the classic map and loot pool with contemporary gameplay mechanics like sprinting and mantling. Set to the tune of Juice WRLD’s ‘Lucid Dreams,’ the trailer reveals various elements, from new map Points of Interest (POIs) to beloved weapons such as the Scar Assault Rifle.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG is scheduled to launch on November 3, 2023, and it will bring a significant transformation to the map. It’s not clear whether this season will be a full-length season or more of a limited-time event. Nevertheless, it’s intriguing to witness a massive game like Fortnite commemorating its history in this manner, particularly a season as warmly remembered as the 2018 Fortnite season. Expect the return of buggies, hoverboards, and new skins like the ‘Lil Split’ Peely Outfit, as showcased in the trailer.
We’re still awaiting detailed information from Epic about the new weapon pool, but it’s anticipated to closely resemble the original 2018 lineup.
At present, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is in its final stages. The Fortnitemares event continues to dominate the map and Item Store, offering your last opportunity to acquire Halloween-themed skins such as Michael Myers, Alan Wake, and Jack Skellington until next year.
