KCX3, an event organized by KCorp and held at the La Défense Arena in Paris, set a new attendance record with over 28,000 attendees, doubling the audience of the LEC Season Finals held at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier. Founder Kamel “Kameto” Kebir shared important updates about the organization’s future during the event.

In addition to revealing that they would have their own venue, “Arènes de l’Agora,” in Evry starting in 2024, Karmine Corp extended their partnership with the French multinational telecommunications corporation Orange until 2025. Furthermore, KCorp will be collaborating with T1 for an event in December, potentially featuring a show match during or after the League of Its Own event scheduled for December 9 in Berlin.
Following their victory at the EMEA Masters in Montpellier on September 8, Karmine Corp solidified their dominance in the ERL circuit. While rumors had circulated previously, Kameto publicly stated that they are nearing a deal to join the LEC, which could see Karmine Corp competing in 2024.
As of now, nothing is officially confirmed, but it was mentioned that confirmation is expected in October. If Karmine Corp were to join the LEC, it would be a significant boost for the premier European competition and the esports scene overall.
Additionally, with Riot Games raising the age restriction for joining the LEC from 17 to 18 years, Kameto announced a major initiative to identify and nurture young talents below the age threshold. This project aims to discover promising players similar to their ADC Caliste, who, due to the new regulations, won’t be eligible to participate in the LEC next season.
