Konami Debuts ‘First IN-Engine Look’ at Metal Gear Sold 3’s Remake

Konami has provided the first glimpse of the “Metal Gear Solid 3” remake with an ‘in-engine’ preview. The video was unveiled during a live stream as part of the Xbox Partner Preview event, showcasing gameplay running on Unreal Engine 5.

This remake, known as ‘Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater,’ was initially announced during a PlayStation Showcase earlier this year and is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Konami characterizes this title as a “faithful remake” where both a new generation of players and dedicated fans can delve into the origin story of the iconic Big Boss and witness how his legend was born in the crucible of Operation Snake Eater.

Notably, Konami has clarified that neither Hideo Kojima nor Kojima Productions are involved in the development of “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.” According to a Konami spokesperson, they are not part of the project. Nevertheless, the development team is committed to creating the remake and ports for “Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection” to ensure these games can be enjoyed by a broader global audience on multiple platforms.
