FOX, Massachusetts, November 6, 2023 – Oxygen Esports (OXG), the largest esports organization in New England, has unveiled its plans to host the inaugural Call of Duty League® (CDL) Major tournament for the 2024 season in collaboration with Live Nation at MGM Music Hall at Fenway. This event marks the return of esports fans from around the world to Boston for the second consecutive year, expecting to draw nearly 15,000 attendees over the weekend. The Boston Breach, a franchise owned by Oxygen Esports, will be competing for a share of the $500,000 prize pool. The tournament is scheduled to run from Thursday, January 25 through Sunday, January 28, 2024, with tickets now available for purchase.

MGM Music Hall at Fenway is a versatile performing arts venue situated within Fenway Park, accommodating up to 5,000 attendees. Opened in August 2022, MGM Music Hall at Fenway is managed by Fenway Music Company, a collaborative effort between Fenway Sports Management and Live Nation.

In conjunction with the Call of Duty League® Major I, Oxygen Esports will also host a Call of Duty® Challengers tournament, the CDL’s amateur circuit, at the Citizen’s House of Blues Boston, just steps away from MGM Music Hall. This tournament will feature 96 teams from around the world competing for the Challengers title. The victors will compete for their share of $75,000, as all four Challenger regions face off in a quest to become the next CDL superstar.
Tickets for the Call of Duty League® Major I at MGM Music Hall are now available for purchase on the Ticketmaster event information page. Access to the Challengers competition is first-come, first-served due to limited capacity. VIP Tickets will go on sale on November 6, 2023, at 10 am EST, while general admission tickets will become available on November 9, 2023, at 10 am EST.
