You inquired about it, and Respawn has indeed delivered. The Apex Legends collaboration with Post Malone is a reality, and it’s arriving very soon. It includes a new limited-time game mode, fresh skins designed with Post Malone’s input, and a wide array of exclusive rewards. Are you excited? I certainly am.
Throughout this year, we’ve witnessed various instances of celebrities joining the gaming world. Megan Fox has dabbled in both Diablo and Mortal Kombat, and now Buffy The Vampire Slayer herself is the latest famous figure to represent Blizzard’s iconic dungeon crawler. The next celebrity to venture into the world of gaming is Post Malone, who is getting his own special event in his favorite battle royale game, Apex Legends.
There’s a lot to unpack in this collaboration, but first, let’s focus on the limited-time game mode called “Three Strikes.” If you’re someone who gets nervous as the game progresses and frets about making those crucial game-winning shots, this mode is tailored for you. Three Strikes provides players with three attempts to be the last surviving squad, and individual players can be knocked down but not eliminated unless the entire squad is wiped out.
However, if you do find yourself in a challenging situation, you’ll respawn at a designated point of interest, not far from where your team was eliminated, with all the equipment you had at that moment. Furthermore, if you play during the weekends of Friday, November 10th, and November 17th, you’ll receive a 1.5x boost to all experience points (XP) and, specifically, to Three Strikes XP.
And, of course, there are also some new skins – and boy do they look good. Designed with Post Malone, the event introduces a new tier of skins: iconic. These bundles have matching weapon skins and stickers and, honestly, they look amazing.

There are also plenty of rewards on offer using the Camo Credits for the battlepass, but given you’ve only got 14 days to earn them, I’d advise that you choose wisely.
Apex Legends Post Malone event dates
The Apex Legends Post Malone event will run from Tuesday, November 7 for two weeks, ending on Tuesday, November 21.
