Apex Legends Season 7 Gameplay changes

Apex Legends Season 7 gameplay

Respawn is finally adding vehicles to Apex Legends! R-99 is back, New map, and a New Legend. Apex Legends Season 7 is packed with new content and changes, let’s explore them all.

What’s new in Apex Legends season 7?

New Vehicles – The Trident

Apex Legends most notable new update in season 7 is the drivable vehicles. The new 3 seats car can be found everywhere on the map and can carry up to 3 squadmates. The Trident has space in the back to place Rampart’s Ultimate – Sheila, the machine gun.

The new vehicle, Trident, can not kill enemies. Meaning you can not run enemies over like Warzone or PUBG. It will only sweep enemies to the sides. The Trident Can’t be destroyed. Instead, Any damage the vehicle takes will be divided on the players riding the vehicle. For Example, if 3 players are riding and the Trident takes 150 damage, each player will take 50 damage.

New Map – Olympus

Home to the new legend, Horizon, Olympus is the latest playable world added to Apex Legends. Olympus is slightly smaller than World’s Edge and contains the “Rift”. Which can be used to travel between points in the map quickly just like Wraith’s portal.

New Legend – Horizon

After being betrayed on a mission to save her city from an energy catastrophe, Horizon gathers her intellect and courage and figures out a way to return to her homeland, Olympus. Horizon was determined to be reunited with her son. But apparently she is too late as Olympus is now in ruins. Horizon does not lose hope because apparently she holds the secrets to time travel.

Horizon tactical ability is the gravity reverse, cast on an area to lift all players into the air for a brief period.

Horizon’s ultimate ability is the black hole, a portable black hole that she opens and sucks everything around into it. Used on enemies, they will be pulled in with a huge force and become vulnerable to AOE (Area of Effect) attacks such as grenades or Gibraltar’s ultimate.

Apex Legends Season 7 Weapons Update

The infamous R-99 is back into the game and does not seem to be changed at all. Same attack speed, recoil, and magazine size.

The Prowler will be removed from play during season 7 and there are no confirmation on whether it will be back.

New hop-up: The Quick-Draw Holster

This hop-up will increase the swap speed between weapons, increase hip fire accuracy, and increase ADS (Aim Down Sights) speed.

New season pass, of course

Drain your wallet yet again for the latest and most exciting season pass yet, which will contain new skins for Wraith, Loba, and the R-99 weapon.

What is the release date of Apex legends season 7?

Season 7 will be available on all platforms on November 4, 2020. With crossplay enabled between PC and consoles.
