We all know that The Game Awards is just 24 hours away, so we are dying to see it live on December 12 at 5:30 PM PT / 8:30 PM ET.

The Game Festival, which is a brand new digital consumer festival, lets you play demos of upcoming games for free on Steam.

The Game Festival Free Steam Demos are:

The Name Of The New Xbox will reflect Its Capabilities

“Our naming convention has been around what we think the capabilities are.”. That being said by Phil Spencer at X019 in London, he also added ” The official name of the upcoming Project Scarlett will suit the console’s capabilities and doesn’t need to connect those of previous Xbox releases.”

So that means, Xbox Scarlett, will feature a name that suits itself rather than reflect a continuity and connection to the overall brand.

Resident Evil 2 Remake Surpasses The Sales Of The Original RE2

Ok, Let’s face it, this is the Golden era of Capcom, whether it’s the success of its recent games, specially the RE2 Remake which is a ‘Game of the Year’ Nominee, or whether it’s the announcement of Resident Evil 3 Remake (which we covered in yesterday’s news) or finally it’s the number of sales its games have made.

Capcom made the announcement as part of their Press release announcing the remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. You can read the full press release from this link http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/news/html/e191211.html

Resident Evil 2 remake has sold five million copies, which is more than the 4.96 million sales of the original Resident Evil 2. It’s worth noting that the original RE2‘s sales were across multiple platforms like the PS1, PC, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Gamecube and Sega Dreamcast.

Another interesting discovery was made by steam users, stating that a new DLC might be in the way for Resident Evil 2 Remake. And Why is That? Because a new achievement called “Chasing Jill” will be added to the list of Steam’s Achievements. So that means an update or DLC will connect the 2 Remakes with each other, and might be announced at Game Awards Tomorrow. So it’s just a matter of time until we know everything.

And that’s it folks for today’s Bulletin. Stay Tuned for the Next one.
