Toxic Gamer’s Bulletin

Welcome to our daily bulletin. Let’s start.

Resident Evil 3 Remake Will Have More Differences From The Original Compared To Resident Evil 2 Remake

In the latest interview made by “Famitsu” with the Resident Evil 3 producers Peter Fabiano and Masao Kawada, it was revealed that the game will have more changed elements compared to Resident Evil 2.

But that’s not all, there are more details revealed in the interview and they are as follows:

1- There will be more changed or rearranged elements compared to Resident Evil 2.

2- The master rom of the game is complete, so there likely won’t be any delays. What’s left are final adjustments, so game development is around 90% complete.

3- The game (like the original) begins before 2, and ends after 2.

4- Jill is one of their most popular characters. They took care to make sure she retained her image even with the design change, and the design changes was made so that she’d look more action-oriented. The original costumes for Jill and Carlos will be available as a bonus.

5- Carlos looks more mature, but is still a joker who speaks casually. He’s just as hot-blooded as before.

6- They haven’t revealed any gameplay yet, but they’ve focused on the action elements more during development. RE2 featured the horrific nature of zombies, while RE3 features action. Of course, it will retain its Resident Evil-like elements.

7- Like RE2, the game uses a third-person behind the camera view

8- Resident Evil: Resistance will connect with RESIDENT EVIL.NET.

9- In order to surprise players, they decided to cut down on the time between the announcement and the game’s release.

Resident Evil 3 remake will launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3, 2020.

“Tarsier Studios” Joins “THQ Nordic”

THQ Nordic has bought Tarsier Studios for $10.5 million ($9.34 million in cash and $1.17 million in B-shares). This was officially announced by Embracer Group, which is considered the owner of both THQ Nordic and Koch Media.

It’s worth mentioning that Tarsier are working now on the sequel of the famous game “Little Nightmares”, which is called “Little Nightmares II”, but it’s supposed to be published by Bandai Namco.

There Are Secrets in Control That Are Still Waiting To Be Discovered

According to an interview made by GamesRadar with Mikael Kasurinen, The Game Director, they asked him what his favourite Easter Egg in the game was. He told them “It is the rubber duck, that angry quack gets me every time. It’s been crazy how quickly people figured many of them out.”

He also added “Having said that, there are still some that people haven’t found yet, though some secrets have a longer tail, and extend into the expansions as well.”

Speaking of expansions they also asked him more about AWE expansion coming next year, and his reply was “It indeed is quite a coincidence! Maybe that gum you like is going to come back in style.”

Maybe this cryptic reply means that there would be a cross over between control and Alan Wake in the AWE expansion. Can’t wait for next year to see what this expansion would offer us.

It’s worth mentioning that Control won Best Art Direction at The Game Awards. The game is available now on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and the PC.

And that’s it folks for today’s Bulletin. Stay Tuned for the Next one.
